History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to get laid

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
