His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in falchion use. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Servant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Skak was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Skak was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Tailor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tailor for hire.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
