History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Peren hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: Havilar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her childhood dream was to be a Adventurer, but she was a colossal failure. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.
