Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in a small island village. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Smoking alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
