History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Mordai took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Theirastra speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Theirastra and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Kasdeya abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. During her travels, Kasdeya and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Kasdeya discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kasdeya fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gerbo was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gilbert was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
