History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she's in love

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She got into the Unemployed business at a young age. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Caelynn has worked very hard to control her curse. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ur-Lasu studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
