Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Torbera was born the youngest of three triplets. One day when Torbera was young, her mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her mother dropped to the ground dead. Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Torbera was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
