History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Zâthra and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. Rosamund is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Baker profession.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. When Shifting reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Meena was born with her father's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now owns her own business.
