He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now mingles about in high society.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Tomi was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tomi's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tomi and his spouse have recently divorced.
