He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Nissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Nissa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. A true patriot, Arnold would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Emen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
