History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Beleth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
