History: Gildmak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Gildmak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gildmak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. History: Born in the east to a Bricklayer, Vanchu learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She tends to her Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
