History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Heskan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heskan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to find somewhere to settle down
