History: Verin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Jeweler.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Junk Dealer father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city.
