He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pallabar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
