History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Bryseis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Iados was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has achieved small success as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and to be a marshal again

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
