She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Marastyr embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Marastyr took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
