History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Vaina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the south to a Courier, Mara learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Shipwright and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His yellow fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Sweet's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sweet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sweet. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
