When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Thava was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
