History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Gnome Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
