History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Serpent's homeland. Serpent decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
