Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Verna embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born in a small desert village. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She bought a warhammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Gennal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Brakka fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Vorka took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She became a Healer soon after.
