History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Saphara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Right-Handed has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ivellios alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
