He prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available he will default to his pickaxe, marred by beers. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Peren hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aust's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He takes great joy in being the best Courier in town.

History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He has worked as a Courier like his father before him.

History: Abad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Akmen was born the youngest of three triplets. Akmen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
