History: Heskan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Born in the south to a Spy, Korfel learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Korfel never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Adrik hails from a village terrorized by giants. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Puyet embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Elegant is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Elegant was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
