Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she has a crush on the local assassin

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
