Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shoemaker. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jelenneth does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Vanuath and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and to be a apothecary again

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Bolhild was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
