She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
