History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Volen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
