History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This tall, slender man prefers to wear flannel. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines white.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Elegant learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Elegant liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.
