History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was born in a small island village. Through the years after Eloise was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Eloise's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Adrik is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Anbera wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anbera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Miner soon after.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Ur-Dag speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Ur-Dag was born the youngest of three triplets. Ur-Dag abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
