Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Purson hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
