History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Elizabeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Shax hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Through the years after Shax was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shax's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shax and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Raer was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
