History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pearl studied abroad. Pearl liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has since lost track of the people in his past.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization.
