History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Pyra was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Althaea lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Beggar, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Shava was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Naamah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jelenneth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and his gloved hand is found clutching a shortbow. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Gifted from a young age, Norman studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Norman grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Norman. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
