Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mastema's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again.

History: Zook lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Sage. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Andraste was born with her mother's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She became a Dyer soon after.
