Jeweler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
