Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He has brown hair. His black eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He receives visions of the future at random moments
History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Mantus learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently the stress of being a Scribe has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears an entirely grey suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.
History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Oriel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oriel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she is greedy

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. He wears baggy tan pantaloons and a green scarf. He has a hunchback. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Naill was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Naill alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'3" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears silk and lounges about seductively. Sporting a black mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Oda hails from a village terrorized by drow. Oda abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
Motivation: To be a Mayor again; and he is content
