His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Naill wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Naill has worked very hard to control his curse. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Taklinn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
