Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Ortegar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Keyleth grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
