Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her violet eyes.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Vonana took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Mantus was born with his father's beautiful face. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Mantus has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for her, and Philomena does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
