His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Hunter. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the west. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
