Personality: Edge is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Edge was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and wants her loneliness to end

She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She struck the Ruler job and began her own company from there.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Knight arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.
