History: She was raised in a island tribe. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pearl fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Jane was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Kelter hails from a village terrorized by drow. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now mingles about in high society.
