History: Quick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Quick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

History: Skirt was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Nalaed was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nalaed was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
