History: Born in the west to a Shoemaker, Berrian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Shoemaker.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barber. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Soveliss does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Soveliss's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Soveliss and his spouse have recently divorced.
