History: Hecat lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Brewer. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Nyx was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
