History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Healer, Volen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Marshal father left him crippled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
