History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dragonborn in existence. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Jaxi was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Korfel hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
