Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Melech was born the youngest of three triplets. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
